The EKS Company, founded in Sweden in 1945, first manufactured small metal products. At the beginning of the 1960's EKS started production of mechanical bathroom and kitchen scales and during the following 20 years the company developed into a multi-national concern producing top quality measurement units for the global market.

A distribution and production site in Europe became a priority and the factory in France was acquired. This remains the headquarters for the company today which places EKS International both geographically and strategically in central Europe. Other sales and distribution offices are in England, Sweden, Brazil, Spain, Hong Kong and China.

A tradition for superior quality products has long been established in EKS and this approach is maintained by our research and development departments. An ever-changing market requires a flexible corporate structure and an open approach to product development to maintain our high standards.
