Family-friendly technology
EKS scales target the modern family, with its emphasis on healthy living through exercise and a carefully chosen diet. Families have an increasing desire to have control of their lives. To this end, EKS have developed its range of “family scales” with measurement functions that are suitable even for children. Scales with child mode are developed specifically to determine the body fat, water & muscle mass and the BMI (Body Mass Index) of children. Parents can now easily monitor the growth of their children and recognize at once the signs of overweight.
 
Body analysis with additional functions
EKS body analyser scales offer a further range of practical functions - athlete mode, aimed at anyone with a daily workout program; measurement of bone mass; daily calorie intake recommendations and a handy user auto-recognition system.
 
 
The 54 kHz innovation and TAMM technology - a new frequency for higher precision
Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) incorporates a self-help system whereby different frequencies determine body fat, body water and muscle mass percentage as well as bone mass. Studies show that 54 kHz is the best possible frequency for the accurate measurement of body fat and body water percentage. To ensure precision measurement, EKS analysers utilize two extra frequencies, 52.6 kHz and 56 kHz which run parallel with 54 kHz, a method that provides optimal consistency for the individually measured values for each user‘s personal data stored in the scale.

TAMM technology (Triple Aided Multi-frequency Measurement), functioning with 54 kHz, has been established in clinical testing and is an innovation that is available in selected body monitors.
 
Weight management with a 30-day cycle
EKS takes the development of body management scales very seriously. Our collection includes scales with weight memory or goal weight function and a trend function based on a 30 day period, all unique benefits for any individual intent on weight loss or gain. With goal weight programming, the user sets a target weight and the progress towards that goal is indicated at every weigh check. Separate memory banks are available for several users.

SlimLine: a range of flat bathroom scales with a height starting from 18mm.
Flat scales are in fashion. EKS offer a series of bathroom scales with these extra low dimensions. Look out for the SlimLine tag.
 
EXTRA-wide bathroom scales - a benefit for the larger user. Weighing, especially for large people, is more comfortable when standing with your feet spaced apart. A selection of EKS models are created with wide platforms and with capacities of 180kg - 200 kg.
