2. The 54 kHz innovation
A new frequency for higher precision
The bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) incorporates a self-help system whereby different frequencies determine body fat, body water and muscle mass percentage as well as bone mass. Our conviction of the benefits of TAMM technology (Triple Aided Multi-frequency Measurement), functioning with 54 kHz, means that from now on EKS will continue to incorporate this system in its body analysers. Studies and tests have shown that 54 kHz is the best possible frequency for the accurate measurement of body fat and body water percentage. In addition, to ensure precision measurement, two extra frequencies, 52.6 kHz and 56 kHz run parallel with 54 kHz. Not only does this deliver absolutely reliable measurements, the method also provides optimal consistency for the individually measured values for each user‘s personal data stored in the scale.

SlimLine: a range of flat bathroom scales with a height starting from 18mm
In keeping with the current fashion for flat scales, EKS have created a series of bathroom scales with these extra low dimensions. In line with contemporary trends the SlimLine range consists of super-svelte bathroom scales measuring a mere 18 mm in height.
Our SlimLine collection is an outstanding success with the consumer. This has been a good reason for extending the assortment with an EXTRA-wide bathroom scale range. These models, with their compelling design, slim lines and with a capacity of 200 kg, even suit people with a larger build. 4. Family-friendly scale technology
Body analysis with additional functions
EKS scales target the modern family, with its emphasis on healthy living through exercise and a carefully chosen diet. This indicates that families have an increasing desire to have control of their lives. To this end, EKS have developed its range of “family scales” with measurements that are even suitable for children. Our new scales with child mode are developed specifically to determine the body fat, water & muscle mass and the BMI (Body Mass Index) of children. Parents can now easily monitor the growth of their children and recognize at once the signs of overweight.
EKS body analyser scales offer a further range of practical functions - athlete mode, aimed at anyone with a daily workout programme; measurement of bone mass; daily calorie intake recommendations and a handy user auto-recognition system.
